Accessibility Statement for Vibe Books

Last updated: 15 April 2026

This accessibility statement applies to the Vibe Books website and application hosted at www.vibebooks.co.uk.

Vibe Books is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for UK sole traders and landlords. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this service to fulfill their tax obligations.

1. Compliance Status

Vibe Books is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard. "Partially compliant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard (noted below), as we are a new service currently in active development.

2. Accessibility Features

We have designed Vibe Books with the following features to support accessibility:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Most of the application can be navigated using a keyboard alone.
  • Text Contrast: We aim for high contrast ratios for all text-based financial data.
  • Responsive Design: The interface is designed to be usable across different screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.
  • Screen Reader Support: We use standard HTML elements to support assistive technologies.

3. Non-accessible Content

We are currently working to improve the following areas:

  • Some older PDF submission receipts may not be fully optimized for screen readers.
  • Certain complex financial charts may lack full text-based descriptions.
  • Some interactive elements may lack detailed aria-label tags.

4. Preparation of this Statement

This statement was prepared on 15 April 2026. It was prepared based on self-assessment using automated accessibility testing tools (including Google Lighthouse) and manual testing of the primary tax submission flows.

5. Feedback and Contact Information

If you need information on this website in a different format or find any accessibility issues, please contact us:

Email: support@vibebooks.co.uk

Telephone: 01330 824021

We aim to respond to all accessibility feedback within 5 working days.

6. Enforcement Procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the accessibility regulations). If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
